Palm Key is located just 5 minutes off of Interstate I-95 (Exit 28) in the historic Lowcountry of South Carolina, on Knowles Island where Indians dwelled more than 3,000 years ago. We are at the head of the Broad River, not far from the ocean if you go down-river. Up-river you'll find three magnificent blackwater rivers and cypress swamps, perfect places for kayak adventures. Palm Key is just 30 miles from famous Hilton Head Island; even closer to historic Beaufort, S.C. Both Savannah and Charleston are within easy driving distances for those who have wanderlust.
